I had a handout I got from church in Tennessee some time ago. It talks about how the ancient Chinese language relates to the Genesis Record. So I thought I should make this a sort of "Deviation/Sermon". But it seems it may have been too big for one deviation alone, so I split it into four. Here's Part 1. It includes how the Chinese written language works, and also about the Tower of Babel. All Scripture references are from the New American Standard Bible.

As for the letters in the corners, I put them it to help me keep track in how to set up this project.

My husband and I taught English in China a few years ago after our junior years in college. The origins of the language are very interesting. I don't know if you'll touch on it later but the character for beautiful 'mei' has some Christian meanings behind it as well. Interestingly America is MeiGuo which sounds phonetically like America but also means the beautiful country.

Yeah, I was only in Tennessee for a few days... so I didn't get any further handouts on Chinese and Genesis (sigh).

[if this is a repeat, DA's being a prat again]
